This was neat. I would appreciate a slight tweak to the collisions as it’s way too easy to end up dying to spikes that get too close to your sprite’s head; otherwise, it’s a fun little project. I wonder if there’s potential for a larger collection of strung-together minigames following the same characters and theme, something along the lines of a corrupted game show.
The highlight is definitely the artstyle and music, and I think there’s enough of a cohesive style to justify taking this project further. I’d definitely be interested to see what you have in store for this.
The atmosphere in this game is awesome! Love the artstyle, the music and the sound effects. Of course you can't go wrong with the gameplay since it's based on a Mario Party game :P
