Really nice game, though it does seem a bit unfair like you said! Sometimes the flowers were in mid air making it much more difficult to whisper to them. Though why you'd be whispering to flowers or why that'd keep you alive I have no idea haha.
Oh I think that might have been a canvas issue. You can try zooming in/out the browser to see if that fixes it. Thanks for checking the game out!!
The story is basically that whispering to flowers gives the tree roots (at the top) energy to grow deeper into the ground hahah Well that was my idea behind it anyways xD
Awesome work with this cute little game! Its straight to the point while also keeping you very active due to more than one bar. I also noticed a hidden feature where if I press the Space Bar it kills my character lol
